EPSRC Research studentships (PhD)

The School annually receives a small number of EPSRC Research studentships available for prospective PhD students (UK or EU residents only). These are normally announced around April time - to apply please mention that you wish to be considered for an EPSRC studentship on your application, this can be in the personal statement or under the fees section. All eligible applicants holding offers before the closing date will be considered.

Tuition Fees

These differ depending upon your place of normal residence, your nationality and your mode of study. Actual course fees are depend upon your subject area - please refer to our Postgraduate Tuition Fees listing on the Student Registry web pages. Fees are revised annually, the above information is for guidance and relates to the current academic year.

Living costs

Please note that for students requiring a visa to study in the UK, the Border Agency of the UK Government prescribes a minimum value of funding which you must be able to access in order to cover your fees and living expenses
