Dr Chris Walton
LecturerResearch Overview
My primary research interests relate to people with intellectual disabilities, the attitudes that others hold towards members of that population, how they are supported in interaction in social and health care settings and the relationships between the two. Beyond that I have longstanding interests in qualitative research methods, the social psychology of emotions, particularly as interactional phenomena, and masculinities.
