Dr Fabrice Andrieux
LecturerResearch Overview
Fabrice is a physical chemist with a research interest in physico-chemical sensor development and actinide chemistry. He has worked on several projects of close relevance to the nuclear industry, and has developed close ties with the nuclear sector in the northwest, particularly with the National Nuclear Laboratory and Sellafield Sites Ltd.
He has written in excess of 30 publications nearly half of which are technical reports written for nuclear industry sponsors (BNFL, NSTS and Nexia Solutions Ltd). He has delivered lectures in the USA and Canada and was invited to deliver a lecture at the 5th International Conference of Applied Mathematics and Computing at the University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria in the summer of 2008.
He is a reviewer for the Journal of Solution Chemistry, the Journal of Nanoparticle Research and the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering. He is a member of the Electrochemical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry and its Electrochemistry group, and an affiliate member if the IChemE.
