ReaderResearch Interests
I am a Reader in Visual Cognition, a title which tells you where my interests lie within psychology. My current research projects aim:
- To reveal the functional organisation of visual remembering and visual knowledge, and their links with verbal processes, especially object naming.
- To reveal the nature and origins (environmental and psychological) of cross-sensory correspondences, and the functional significance of these correspondences for visual cognition, visual aesthetics, and language (e.g., sound symbolism and language acquisition).
