Lancaster University was one of only three UK universities to receive a Small Business Charter Gold Award and was named as one of the top ten universities in the UK for engaging with SMEs in the 2013 Sir Andrew Witty review ‘Encouraging a British Invention Revolution’. We are continually developing new and innovative ways of working with SMEs to help them thrive as we recognise their importance as the driving force of the economy.
